HP-branded photobooth uses Zink media for portable party fun

The new HP Sprocket Photobooth merges the features of a classic photobooth with HP Sprocket?s signature portability and ink-free printing capabilities.

HP brand licensee C+A Global unveiled a new addition to the HP Sprocket line at CES 2024 last week: HP Sprocket Photobooth, which merges the features of a classic photobooth with HP Sprocket’s ink-free printing capabilities.

HP Sprocket Photobooth ($449.99), scheduled for retail release in 2024, is compact and travel-friendly, the company said. The HP Sprocket Photobooth prints vibrant, glossy, ink-free 3.5″ × 4.25″ photos on sticky-backed ZINK paper. The HP Sprocket Panorama’s Bluetooth capabilities enable users to snap new photos on any smartphone (iOS or Android) before using the free HP Sprocket Panorama app to edit and print. With the Panorama, users can instantly roll out sticky-backed pictures of various sizes ranging from 0.5″ to 9″, custom 2″ x 9″ photo booth strips, or vibrant labels as small as 0.5″ x 2.”

C+A Global also recently launched the HP Sprocket Panorama ($149.99) in November 2023. Similar to the Photobooth, the users connects to the printer via Bluetoothy, then edit and prints via the free HP Sprocket Panorama app to edit and print. With the Panorama, users can printsticky-backed pictures of various sizes ranging from 0.5″ to 9″, like custom 2″ x 9″ photo strips or vibrant labels as small as 0.5″ x 2″. The printer also features a built-in cutter and will alert users when it is safe to use the paper cutter button to easily separate photo strips or labels.

Within the app, users can simply choose from ready-made templates or create their own. The app also allows users to get creative and enhance the beauty of their photos or labels with stylish frames, stickers, filters, text, and more. Customized photos can then be shared on social media directly as well. The Panorama will even alert you when it is safe to use the paper cutter button to easily separate your photo booth strips or labels.
